We just finished making a Jeep Wrangler key fob over on E Burnett Ave in Louisville KY 40217, not far from Miles Memorial CME Church. The customer lost their only key fob and had no way to start the vehicle. No spare, no backup – just a Jeep sitting in a parking lot with no way to go anywhere. This was a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that needed a full key replacement from scratch. When you lose all keys to a modern Jeep like this, it takes more than just cutting a new key. The whole process involves reading the vehicles PIN code, generating a new proximity key fob, and then programming it through the cars system. Our technician used both an XTOOL and an Autel KeyTool to get the job done right on site.
