Last week we made a new Dodge Ram key fob right here in Louisville, Kentucky near Royals Empire Barbershop off Denmark St in the 40215 area. The customer needed a brand new key fob made and programmed for their Ram 1500, and our mobile locksmith got it done on the spot.
Our technician arrived in our fully equipped van, connected the Xtool diagnostic programmer to the truck’s OBD port, read the PIN code from the vehicle’s computer, and programmed the new smart key right there in the parking lot. No tow truck needed, no trip to the dealership. The screen showed “Programming Success” and the customer was back on the road in no time.
