Some common models include the FO21T7 (compatible with various Jaguar S-, X-, XJR-, and XJ8-Types between the years 2000 and 2008) and the TBE1T5 (compatible with Jaguar XJ, XJR, XK, XKR, and XK8 1998 to 1999 models.)
Keyless fobs. Modern Jaguars use keyless smart fobs which can unlock and start the ignition without a physical key. Because they use the latest in tech security, they must be reprogrammed to your car’s operating system with a key programming machine that is compatible with Jaguar models. You can find these replacement fobs online under the labels KR55WK45694 or KR55WK49244, which are compatible for Jaguar XF, XFR, XJ8, XK, XKR, and XK8 between the years 2008 and 2013.

Additionally, keys that use a transponder chip or smart key system will need to be programmed to your Jaguar. This requires a separate programming machine with the appropriate software to be able to communicate with your Jaguar’s operating system.
